Fun fact: the Santa pictured in every single photo below started the year of Carter's first Christmas (lamely not included because I STILL haven't scanned it). Please don't ever retire Santa-at-the-mall...you'll mess up my pictures!
Also funny? We don't "believe" in Santa or make a big deal of him at Christmas, so when Santa asked what they wanted for Christmas after they took the picture, Carter said, "Nah, we're just here for the picture. Thanks! Mama, can we have that cookie now?" When I told him he could tell Santa one present he would like, he glanced back over his shoulder and said, "ummm, maybe a car? Thank you!' before turning back to me and asking again for the cookie. Well.....at least he didn't talk Santa's ear off?

*yup...that's the same sweater and the same shoes on Samuel. Guess who else has had more than one photo made in that sweater? Carter. That thing is going down as the most photographed $10 sweatshirt in our family history! Bam. Got my money's worth.*
